Dodge Challenger Freedom Commercial

Lets begin with a commercial this is effective. This is one of my favorite commercials that were released recently.

There are a few things that this commercial does really well. First, it targets effectively targets its audience and appeals to them through pathos. If there is one thing that defines Americans, it's their pride in their citizenship. We are all extremely proud to be Americans and ever since early childhood we are taught of everything it took for us to become independent. Second, it ties the concept of American freedom to the pride that we Americans have in things that are produced here in the US. If I were in the market for a car, I would be very tempted to buy a Dodge Challenger.

Great blog topic! This was a good post too...I normally hate commercials, and this was a good one. I look forward to seeing what other commercials you find and critique.

Thanks for the comment. It comforts me that there are others out there that have a similar distaste for stupid commercials. It makes the rare good commercials all the more enjoyable.
